Who Are We?

Dare to rise was established in 2019 and registered as a private company. Our mission is to equip, build and mobilise individuals and families to rise above any limitations and reach their destinies.

Bertha has extensive experience in building individuals, families and subsequently communities. As an international speaker who has addressed people in Canada, England, Zimbabwe and many other countries, she is extremely diverse and knows how to handle situations no matter what your culture or creed.

Bongiwe has over 20 years of social work experience. Bongiwe has worked both nationally (SA) and internationally (UK). Bongiwe is currently practising social work in the United Kingdom. Bongiwe is knowledgeable in all areas of social work with vested interest and expertise in Safeguarding /Child Protection/Organisational governance (NGO/Charity) & Training.

We specialise in nourishing the wellbeing of an individual so that they can maximise their full potential and become better employees, friends, spouses and an overall better version of themselves.

    Bertha Ashear Maringi is a seasoned expert in mental health, child and family therapy, and life coaching, with over a decade of experience. Her career began as a high school teacher, leading her to pursue advanced studies in social work and cognitive-behavioral therapy. This background enables her to support individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.

    With over 10 years in child and family welfare, Bertha has successfully reunited vulnerable children with their families, demonstrating her commitment to healing. She employs a multidisciplinary approach as a certified teacher, social worker, and CBT specialist.

    Bertha is also trained in Values-Based Leadership Facilitator and serves as a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper and Instructor. She conducts organizational culture and values strategy sessions and workshops, as well as strategic parenting workshops that focus on raising teenagers in today’s generation. Currently, she is completing her Master’s in Child and Family Studies, further enhancing her impact in the field.
